Febres Cordero Compañía de Comercio S.A., was founded on January 26, 1.966 by its current president, Don Agustín Febres Cordero Ribadeneyra. Its main activity at the beginning was the commercialization of lubricants and oils, as well as agricultural inputs, fertilizers, chemical products, etc. Later it committed its goal and widened its operations in 1983, by creating the Industrial Agricultural and Marine Division, founded by Jaime Febres Cordero Rosales, its vice president. The company incorporated new product lines with a renowned quality and prestige, becoming leaders in the commercialization of capital goods as equipment for electric generation, industrial and marine motors, water pumps and technical service, etc. Since its operations began, Febres Cordero Cía. de Cía. S.A has had, as a working motto complying with the client's expectations and satisfying the growing need in the market for specialization areas. Currently the company is structured in two divisions, which are: "Agrochemicals" and "Industrial, agricultural and marine", each of them administrated independently physically, administratively and financially.
